We’re in This Together

Thank you for all the outpouring of support this past week as so many of us were impacted by the horrific fires that took over our lives during what seemed like the longest week in history.  As both residents and business owners in Napa Valley, we are profoundly grateful for the tireless efforts of the first responders who worked around the clock to keep us all safe.  We are also humbled to have had the honor to work among some of the thousands of volunteers who continue to do whatever it takes to support evacuees, animals, first responders and anyone in need with a warm place to stay, food to eat or much-needed consolation during emotional times of uncertainty.

As we all move into recovery mode, many people in our community will need ongoing support to rebuild their businesses, homes and lives.  It is, after all, the strength of this community that will be what will carry on long after our first responders move on to protect others. It is for this reason we would like to do our part to help galvanize that strength and pay it forward.

Through November 30, 2017, Virtual Vines will be donating 100% net proceeds earned from our on-line DTC Webtrack training series to the Napa Valley Community Disaster Relief Fund

Donation proceeds will support grants to non-profits that provide immediate relief and recovery services to those impacted.  These services include food; shelter; childcare; transportation; health and mental health; resource/referral and case management; legal/advocacy services; and, human and social services.

For some, the impacts of displacement may involve temporary or permanent loss of employment.   For those who have been displaced and are seeking new job opportunities in sales, marketing or winery hospitality services, we will be offering pro bono consulting support through November 2017 to assist with writing compelling resumes, brushing up on interviewing skills or developing an effective placement network.

I would like to personally thank our clients, friends and Industry partners for all the support and encouragement we have received since relocating full time to Napa Valley almost three years ago. We are honored to be business owners and residents of this extraordinary community and are very much looking forward to the opportunity to support its recovery.
